Shipping and Receiving Associate


Job Summary

We are looking for experienced shippers who have a keen eye for detail, knowledgeable with shipping carriers’ software, and possess customer service proficiency.  They will review orders and identify errors by meticulously comparing invoice orders with product serial numbers before packaging for shipment. They will reduce shipping costs by selecting the best shipping strategy for each order. Daily work performance will be accurate, consistent, and completed in a timely manner.
 
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Responsible for shipping, receiving, returns, order management, carrier relations, and customer service, including research of shipping companies, their fee schedules, and delivery information.
  • Responsible for prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of orders, beginning with processing invoices to shipping product.
  • Knowledge/experience of shipping carriers’ company software: UPS, FedEx, USPS, including COD services.
  • Keen attention to detail to identify errors on invoices, correct errors, then process invoices accordingly to ensure product serial number, quantity, and shipping address are correct before product is packaged and shipped.
  • Responsible for packing product securely and carefully while reducing shipping expenses.
  • Maintain a positive attitude to promote a positive workplace with peers and customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations.

Job Requirements
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ experience working with shipping carriers and their software programs.
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in customer service.
  • 2-3 years’ experience of computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a warehouse is preferred
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, talk, hear, see, reach, repetitive motions.
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and hand carts.
  • Ability to stand/walk 8 hours per day.
  • Demonstrable skills and abilities with basic math: addition and subtraction.
  • Reliable with regular work-site attendance.
  • Firearms enthusiast preferred.

Full Time Marketing Associate


Job Summary
 
The Marketing Associate’s primary responsibilities are the development of creative internal and external marketing materials for print and web; development of multimedia campaigns to engage dealers as well as consumers; building brand awareness across the board while adhering to consistent brand identity. This position will work closely with management and sales staff to execute successful B2B and B2C product marketing, while constantly evolving and learning to stay abreast of the latest industry trends.
 
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Conceptualize and design marketing materials for multiple corporate divisions (i.e. print and digital ads, newsletter content, website graphics, tradeshow materials, national publication ads, etc.)
  • Assist management and sales team to promote product
  • Lead product photography/miscellaneous photography shoots
  • Manage digital assets
  • Manage social media accounts (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Create eNewsletter campaigns
  • Understand and execute website administration fundamentals within a CMS
  • Collaborate with vendor marketing teams to ensure quality product marketing
  • Collaborate with external printers, advertising reps, etc. to execute projects as assigned
  • Stay current on the latest software, design trends, and industry best practices
 
Required Education & Experience
  • College degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field
  • 2 years of professional experience preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
  • Proficient in Mac OS and PC
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Solid understanding of design principles (must submit recent portfolio with application)
 
Additional Skills & Abilities
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • HTML/CSS experience is a plus
  • Video creation/editing is a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of firearms is required.
